Information We Collect
- Account information: when you sign up with email or Google, we store your email address, name, and authentication credentials managed securely by our authentication provider.
- Profile preferences: language, default Bible version, theme, and notification preferences you choose.
- Your content: journal entries, voice notes, highlights, favorites, Amen reactions, and reading progress you create in the app.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the devotional experience: daily verses, devotionals, Bible plans, journal, and personalized settings.
- To send daily devotional push notifications at the time you choose (06:00 by default), only when you have enabled notifications.
- To improve content across the six supported languages.
Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on our cloud backend with row-level security, meaning only you can access your private entries such as journals, voice notes, highlights, and favorites.
- Voice notes are stored in a private bucket accessible only to their owner.
- We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Third-Party Services
- Bible text is fetched from public Bible APIs to display Scripture.
- AI services are used to generate daily verses, translations, and commentary summaries; your private journal content is not shared with these services.
- Google sign-in is provided through OAuth if you choose it.
Your Choices & Rights
- You can turn off push notifications at any time in Settings.
- You can delete your journal entries, voice notes, highlights, and favorites from within the app.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Changes to This Policy
- We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced within the app. Continued use of Life-Pathway after changes means you accept the updated policy.
